MyBOB ("the app") helps Medicare insurance agents track their own book of business. Your privacy matters — here's what we collect and why, in plain English.

What we collect

📝 Account info: your name, email address, and password (stored as a one-way hash — we can't see it).
📊 Your book numbers: the policy counts you enter per carrier, per month.
🔑 Carrier portal logins you provide: if you use "Pull my numbers", the portal login you enter on the Carriers page — stored encrypted, used only to pull your own book.
🎂 Birthdays: only the names and month/day you choose to save — never birth years.
📱 Technical basics: standard server logs (IP address, browser type) to keep the service running and secure.

What we never do

🚫 We never sell your data. 🚫 We never share your book numbers with carriers, agencies, or advertisers. 🚫 Your workspace is private — only you (and staff you explicitly authorize) can see it.

How we use your info

Only to run the app: sign you in, save your numbers, show your dashboard, and send service emails (like password resets). That's it.

Data security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Carrier portal passwords you save are encrypted (AES-256) and only used for your own pulls. Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. The database lives on a private server disk, not shared with anyone.

Your control

You can update or delete your entries anytime inside the app. To delete your account entirely, email support@mybobapp.com and we'll remove it.

Children

MyBOB is a business tool for licensed insurance agents and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and note it in the app.
